Abbey Court Hotel, Torquay

The hotel may have dated rooms, but they are functional and suitable for an overnight stay. The property features a lovely garden and an outdoor pool. Although the decor is below standards, the showers are available. The service was very accommodating, with the chef, Chris, providing a late supper and lovely early breakfast. The location is great for a short walk to the front, through pleasant gardens by Torre Abbey. The dining experience may have been chaotic at times but offered amazing dishes. The hotel facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
